GreenFolders Announces GreenFolders Communicator

Today GreenFolders, Salt Lake City, announced the availability of GreenFolders Communicator, a secure communications tool that enables GreenFolders users to easily send secure messages and files to their customers and clients directly from within the GreenFolders office management system.

According to the company, GreenFolders Communicator leverages the security, control capabilities and unique features of Sendside’s communication platform to provide a very capable, secure, yet easy-to-use system for organizations needing to send important messages and documents to parties “outside the firewall.” The power of Sendside is now natively integrated into the GreenFolders office management system. The result is unparalleled ease of use, reporting and analytics and peace of mind knowing that confidential client information is being handled appropriately.

“Our customers have been asking for an easy way to do three things,” said Dan Iorg, GreenFolders’ chief technical officer. “First, they need an effective way for staff members to share client files electronically with their customers. Second, they must protect their customers’ privacy, and third, they have to maintain compliance both with electronic data laws and the new wave of electronic communications laws that are sweeping across the nation.” According to Iorg, GreenFolders developed GreenFolders Communicator to fill all three needs with minimum hassle and maximum security.

“Security experts tell us that something like 70 percent of all office employees who work with private customer information have inadvertently exposed that information by sending it to others in insecure ways,” says Mike Kirby, president and CEO of GreenFolders. Companies simply need better tools, he says.

Every day, office workers face the daunting task of working with sensitive data without exposing their customers to hackers and identity thieves. At the same time—whether they are aware of it or not—these same workers are required to comply with a raft of regulations that seems to change every other week.

GreenFolders Communicator allows users to share any content of a file—notes, documents, tasks, status reports, data, updates and more—by simply creating a message. Any file or attachment in a GreenFolders folder—from documents and images to e-mails and voice recordings—can be sent through GreenFolders Communicator. This makes it very easy for business to get critical information securely to their clients and customers. Best of all, this all happens within the GreenFolders interface, so users don’t have to leave the tool they use for other tasks in order to ensure the security of the messages they’re sending.

GreenFolders Communicator is available immediately to companies using version 3.0 of the GreenFolders office management system. Users of a previous version of GreenFolders may need to upgrade to the most current version to ensure compatibility.

Global Technology Summit 2011 Set for May 15-17, 2011

Here some event news that hit our desks today. After months of preparation, the Global Technology Summit 2011 is set to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on May 15-17, 2011.

The event, which is being call the first-of-its-kind, is an annual networking and educational event for mortgage lenders and the companies that serve them and is expected to draw hundreds of attendees, including lenders, technology providers, AMCs and appraisers. Best-selling author, entrepreneur and public speaker Gary Vaynerchuk—an expert who writes and speaks on topics that include social media, branding and ecommerce—has been confirmed as the event’s keynote speaker.

“The Global Technology Summit fills a void in the mortgage industry,” said Vladimir Bien-Aime, CEO of Global DMS, the company hosting the event. “This is the only event in the industry that provides attendees with short incubation opportunities and tools that are relevant to today’s challenges and opportunities. This summit was specifically designed and priced to provide a strong return on investment. Literally every hour has been carefully planned so attendees get maximum benefit throughout the entire three days of the event. The Global Technology Summit is a true forum for exchanging ideas and communicating one on one with the colleagues, partners and service providers that can help lenders reduce risk, stay profitable and grow their businesses.”

Unlike other industry events, the Global Technology Summit’s registration fees are all inclusive, and cover accommodations, educational sessions, fully catered meals, open bar cocktail parties, and more. The event will have no exhibit hall. By design, educational sessions are limited to 120 attendees and will run only 45 minutes to maximize opportunities while accommodating realistic attention spans.

“The old-school model for conferences and conventions include a lot of unproductive time, like hours-long, content-lacking lectures and day-long exhibit hours that offer hit-and-miss networking opportunities at best,” said Bien-Aime. “We kept what works and took out what doesn’t, so attendees can expect this event to offer only the most productive and opportunity-filled activities.”

The all-inclusive attendee registration rate is $749 when purchased by March 31, and includes three nights of hotel accommodations, meals, conference pass, and more. After April 1, the registration fee is $849.

Attendees may register and get more event information at www.GTS2011.com. Organizations interested in becoming a partner with the Global Technology Summit can also get more information at www.GTS2011.com, emailing Info@GTS2011.com or calling 877.432.0251.

According to Global DMS, the Global Technology Summit 2011 is open to members of the mortgage industry and is not a company user group meeting.
