Xerox Launches New Version of BlitzDocs

Xerox (NYSE:XRX)announced the addition of some new features for its BlitzDocs® intelligent collaboration network during this week's MBA Technology conference in Phoenix. New advanced workflow capabilities automatically queue loans to accelerate the process from origination to closing and a new manager dashboard allows lenders to track loan status and better manage productivity and workload across various people and processes.

BlitzDocs now also provides annotation capabilities that allow lenders to easily edit, sign and comment on paper-based images and electronic documents rather than printing out documents to hand write notes or add signatures. BlitzDocs supports multiple versions of annotated documents so lenders can choose what is viewed by third parties and which version is sent to investors. Lenders also benefit from an audit trail showing who made the notes and when.

“The enhancements made to BlitzDocs are well thought out and take our paperless collaboration to the next level,” said Jennifer Edwards, vice president of Town and Country Banc Mortgage Services, Inc. “BlitzDocs continues to help us simplify our processes and allows us to connect with all necessary parties from origination to post-closing.”

“To save time and adapt to industry regulations, lenders are recognizing that basic imaging is not enough – they need to extend collaboration beyond their own business,” said Nancy Alley, vice president and general manager of Xerox Mortgage Services. “Xerox is driving this industry change with new technology and a growing network of partners that make it easier for loan participants to work together to meet borrower needs and stay one step ahead of changing regulations.”

Finale adds Spanish Reverse Documents

Finale Document Services, a document preparation and content provider combining long-standing knowledge in mortgages with financial services, software development, and regulatory compliance expertise, is proud to introduce the addition of reverse document packages in Spanish. With the Hispanic reverse homebuyer market gaining speed, there is no better time to embrace this paradigm shift and begin tapping into this emerging market, the company said. Finale can now dynamically create documents in Spanish and English.

Finale Document Services supports complete HECM Initial Disclosure and Closing Packages in both English and Spanish for both static text and variable data (loan amount, date, rate etc.). Unlike document providers who use state-side translation companies, Finale documents were translated by a local Puerto Rico Law Firm and are fully compliant with Puerto Rico’s Reverse Mortgage Consumer Protection Act (Law No 164).

Finale has also established relationships with state-side law firms to support the translation of the legal documents for other states into Spanish.

Jacob Petersen, executive vice president of Finale Document Services, said, “Finale allows data exports to flow seamlessly from your LOS into Finale, populating appropriate fields within the extracted information and instantly creating packages to print, save, or securely deliver electronically. The addition of reverse Spanish documents within the Finale offering will allow our customers to embrace new markets and tackle a largely underserviced community in a way that will allow for increased customer satisfaction while utilizing the most advanced document preparation and delivery solution on the market today.”
